Hi... I'm Dan.
I'm the kind of guy that loves being in a relationship, even though I can be pretty fucking picky about the kind of people I surround myself with.
Allow me to explain my kind of people...

I like girls with dark hair and big brown eyes.
Even though I'm a fairly average guy, I HATE huge amazonian tuff actions.
I like girls shorter then me.
I hate people who put others down in attempts to make their human flaws appear like in-human perfections.
I respect those that stand to fight their demons and wolves, rather then lock themselves within in frail attempts to ignore them.
I hate fake. I even hate the word, fake.
I love brutal honesty even though it sometimes makes me brutally angry. So I guess I really just like brutal honesty.
I like people who worry about the other people inside their range of family and friendships... the kind of people that don't care about the opinions of those they don't care about.
I like hot chicks with 80s haircuts and 60s clothing.
For me, it's the kind of girl that cuts her own hair so she can spend her money on her kids new DC shoes.
...Oh yah... I like kids too.
I respect good parents who put their kids first.
I hate druggie fuck ups who delicately balance their responsibilities based on their next high or quack doc dosages...
People that abuse. Abuse themselves, their families, their community and the people in it.
I hate actions... save individuals.
I've been scrutinized by careless fucks about the few people I call friends and could care less...
... Because I also loath arrogance.
I have no acquaintances. I have no guilt about the grudges I hold... for I surround myself in people I trust. And ONLY those I trust.
I have friends that will still be my friends when I'm not in the room.
My friends don't leave me, because I never give them a chance to be sick of my shit.

Fight night is approaching fast.
Every day and night I have spent going back and forth to he gym, stripping the rust off.
It's hard to write what goes through my head at this time, because one of the attractions to these moments are the isolation, even while training with the others, that pushes me to go farther. The thoughts that drive me are my own, and it feels vital to keep it that way. This year I have taken to wracking my body, my bones and my muscles to the point of daily pain. My training regime consists of cardio (five rounds of stairs with my brother on my back) Running stretches in waist deep water and technical drills. Other then that, I spar. Every day I'm in the ring, training, working and conditioning my body for the fight.
Stacey, as always has been supportive. I can't sleep, she doesn't mind. I can't be home to hang out all the time, she backs me up anyhow. Even when I'm not training I am thinking about it and talking about it, and as annoying as that may be, she doesn't say a word of negativity. She is even going to the fights and taking time off work so she can support me when my name is called under the lights.
My brother, My coaches and a few of the guys went up to the lake to watch me train the other day, and it feels good to have this force behind me. I ~~don't want to~~ won't let them down.

I think this will be my last Tiger Balm Tournament, as I think the mental position, and the place I have pushed myself goes beyond amateur fighting. I could be wrong...

I guess I will find out this weekend in Vancouver.
